TMC Motorsport Driver Development Service Terms and Conditions

Please note, by making a booking with TMC Motorsport you automatically agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

1.0: Booking

1.1: Bookings can be made via the TMC Motorsport website, or by personal arrangement.
1.2: Once bookings have been made, a deposit of £75 is required immediately to secure and guarantee the date requested. The balance of any booking is then required to be settled at least 7 days before the activity is due to take place. Failure to adhere to this will result in the day being cancelled with no refund of the deposit.
1.3: Once a booking has been made, and deposit received, TMC Motorsport will advise of the outstanding balance. TMC Motorsport reserve the right to include a travel expense if excessive mileage is incurred in travelling to the necessary location. Generally, circuits located outside of England and Wales are considered to incur excessive mileage. Please contact us to discuss your requirements if they extend beyond England and Wales.
1.4: Requested dates will only be honoured if they are published as free on the list of available dates on the TMC Motorsport website.
1.5: If a date is selected that is not shown as available, every attempt will be made to find a suitable alternative. However, if no alternative can be found, the £75 deposit is non-refundable.
1.6: The customer is responsible for making all bookings and arrangements with the circuit or venue with regard to reserving the track time, and is wholly responsible for all costs incurred in this way.

2.0: Requirements of the service

2.1: TMC Motorsport accept the obligation to provide professional instruction in an attempt to improve the driving techniques and abilities of the customer.
2.2: The customer accepts the obligation to provide a suitable, relatively comfortable, and above all safe vehicle in which the instruction can take place. If fitting a passenger seat is not possible, please contact us prior to making a booking and alternative arrangements can be made, either by the hire of one of our cars, or by using video capture and data logging to analyse and develop the performance of the customer.
2.3: TMC Motorsport reserve the right to call to a halt, or permanently suspend, without refund, an in car instruction session if it is felt that the customer presents a danger to any person present on the day of activity.
2.4: The customer accepts that for their own safety they are to follow all instruction given to them by any member of TMC Motorsport whilst participating in an in car instruction session.
2.5: TMC accepts absolutely no responsibility for any accident or injury that occurs during a day of activity, whether caused on or off circuit. The customer and any guests are present entirely at their own risk.
2.6: Safety equipment cannot be provided by TMC Motorsport for the customer. Therefore it is imperative the customer sources their own safety equipment suitable for the activity to take place. No refund will be offered if insufficient safety equipment prevents the running of the scheduled activity. This also applies to any licence restrictions that maybe in place at the chosen venue of activity.

3.0: Cancellations

3.1: If cancellation is necessary on behalf of the customer, please contact us as soon as possible.
3.2: We will charge a fee if cancellation on behalf of the customer occurs in the following time periods:

Before 4 weeks prior to the scheduled activity: £75 deposit
Within 1 - 4 weeks of the scheduled activity: 50% of total booking fee
Within 7 days of the scheduled activity: 75% of total booking fee

3.3: In the unlikely event that after confirming a date and receiving a booking fee, TMC Motorsport cannot supply a suitable instructor, a full refund will be offered to the customer.
3.4: In the event of a day being cancelled by the organiser, for whatever reason, a suitable alternative date shall be found, and a credit issued to the customer until a days instruction has been carried out. No refund shall be offered.
